Hopit

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Draft. This text is a working draft and will be reviewed before Hopit launches.

These terms apply when you use the Hopit app and its website. By creating an account or using Hopit, you agree to them. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, Google or your email address. Keep access to that account secure; you’re responsible for what happens in your Hopit account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Hopit.

Your content

Your todos, notes, places and circles belong to you. You give us permission to store, sync and show them only so we can run Hopit for you and for the people you share them with.

Circles and sharing

Anyone with a circle’s invite link or code can join it, so share it only with people you trust; the owner can rotate the code and remove members. Everything you add to a circle is visible to its members. Be kind, and don’t use circles to share anything unlawful or hurtful.

Reminders are a helping hand

Location and time reminders depend on your iPhone: its settings, permissions, battery, signal and iOS itself. We work hard to remind you at the right moment, but we can’t promise every reminder will arrive. Don’t rely on Hopit for anything critical to health or safety, and never handle your phone while driving.

Acceptable use

The service

We keep improving Hopit, so features may change. We aim to keep it available but can’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Hopit is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed reminder or lost data, arising from your use of Hopit. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Ending

You can stop using Hopit and delete your account at any time from Me › Delete account. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Using Hopit after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

[To be confirmed: the governing law and the legal entity that operates Hopit.]
